Long Island Sinatra Singer To Perform At Plush Resort

John Cannella Long Island's Sinatra Singer will be performing at the luxurious Hudson Valley Resort on June 15, 2013. Cannella or Johnny The Oldies Singer as he is known professionally will be bringing his act called Songs of The Greats to the plush hotel. In that act Johnny not only does a full selection of Frank Sinatra songs but also those of Tony Bennett, Johnny Mathis, Engelbert, Elvis, Bobby Darin, Neil Diamond and many more. Johnny will be entertaining people from all over the country and indeed the world who flock to the resort not only for the musical event but also for the world class custom classic auto show taking place on that weekend. Johnny once dubbed by a protege as the "rockin crooner" for his diversity of sound can be crooning to a Sinatra ballad one minute and rockin to a Neil Diamond or Elvis hip shaker the next. Having his roots in the 60's group doowop sound, Johnny uses the skills he learned as a lead group singer to recreate songs of the great oldies groups like the Duprees, Four Seasons, Drifters, Platters,Skyliners and many more including the great Beatles. Johnny's act has routinely been accorded 5 Star reviews.
